Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Travis Barker, has reacted to the news that her ex-husband is expecting a baby with Kourtney Kardashian.
In a statement to E! News, Moakler said, “I wish them all the best.”
Moakler and Barker were married from 2004 to 2008 and have two children together, a daughter, Alabama, 16, and a son, Landon, 18.
Barker and Kardashian started dating in 2020 and got engaged in October 2021.
The couple announced their pregnancy news on Instagram on Monday.
In a video posted to Barker’s Instagram account, Kardashian held up a positive pregnancy test, and Barker kissed her stomach.
The couple captioned the video, “She’s pregnant!”
Kardashian and Barker have yet to reveal the due date for their baby.
Moakler has been open about her past struggles with co-parenting with Barker.
In an interview with Us Weekly in 2021, Moakler said, “It’s been tough for me. I’ve been trying to be the bigger person and be supportive, but it’s hard.”
Moakler also said she was “shocked” when she learned about Barker and Kardashian’s engagement.
“I was shocked,” she said. “I didn’t know it was coming.”
Despite her initial reaction, Moakler said she is happy for Barker and Kardashian.
“I wish them all the best,” she said. “I hope they have a happy life together.”
How Moakler will react to the news that Barker and Kardashian are expecting a baby remains to be seen. However, her previous statements suggest she is trying to support her ex-husband and his new family.
